This is what my face looked like a week ago. Yeah...a self-waxing experience gone bad. I now have huge sprawling discolored patches on both cheeks.

I think I'm going to have to hit the MAC counter again soon to pick up a heavier foundation or a concealer of some sort, because from previous experience, discoloration like this has often taken years to go away.

However, it healed a few days ago (well, the flaking went away at least), so I could start using makeup again. Tutorial for this look is here.

Girl ur looking gorgeous, my best friend gets these kinda patches too, try washing ur face with ice cold water and constantly put rose water on ur face, and put vaslene on the patches that should get rid of the flakiness and heal the broken skin faster. Good luck,
Moving on to ur MU:

I did that once on my ankle area. It took months for it to be the same color again.

You might want to look into Dermablend. You can get a sample pack for like $3 to find which color is best for you. I used it to cover a stupid tattoo on my ankle for my wedding.

i was JUST thinking this morning (in church, actually, when i was supposed to be focusing on the sermon, lol!) how I miss your posts! this is really pretty, sorry about your face!

you should look for Vita-K Cream in your drugstore - it is EXCELLENT for scars! i use it religiously - it is MUCH MUCH better than Mederma & much less, IMHO. . . Mederma did nothing for my scars, but i see results sooo FAST w/ this stuff! oh & check out Bio Oil or Silkia Camelia Oil, both are excellent also! HTH

i did that to myself recently! OUCH. it looked like i had rugburn all over lol. then it started peeling off. extremely attractive! then i discovered sally hansen cream hair remover. it works like a dream and doesnt irritate my skin! it doesnt last as long as waxing, but it doesnt hurt like waxing. HTH : ) and of course, u look beautiful as always!

Very pretty! I'm sorry that happend to you....have you ever tried threading? I personally find that less painful than waxing (even though it takes awhile to thread the whole face).
