How do you explain to a friend (who used to do your hair) that you have found another person to do your hair?

i would say that you have a close friend or relative that you promised you would let do your hair since they have finished hair school. and let her know how much you appreciate her past cuts and whatnot. . actually that IS what i did. haha. i just recently switched.. cuz my friend that is in school is going to do it for free. but it all worked out cuz my other hairstylist is moving.. : (
