outer V, inner V, crease..arrrgh help

ok so I have used the search facility and have found some awesome diagrams that have helped me discover what outer V, inner V etc are...but...how do i know what colours to put where??..should the colour under the eye match the colour on the inner V??..should the crease be darker??..how do i know?? sorry, just a bit confused

Generally the crease and outer v are darker and the inner v and browbone are lighter. But... it's make-up, it's fun, just experiment!! I'd say just keep browsing through FOTDs as most list what was used and where and eventually (and with practise) you'll get good with colour placement.
