A lot of people rave about the Bare Canvas paint for a base. It is a great nude color and it works very well for any eyeshadow. Another thing you might want to try is UD Primer Potion. I have never tryed this yet but I hear great thing about it as well.

yup, bare canvas would be a good base for any color shadow. a lot of people like stilife too - it has just a touch of shimmer whereas bare canvas does not. so bare canvas is a great place to start, then you can always branch into some of the colored paints for use specifically under certain shadows/pigments (like chartru under green shadows) if you want.

i agree with isis, use whatever matches you - i use base light (i think thats it) only because it has a nice glow to it

Bare Canvas is great because it brings out any shadow you put over it. So, I think it works for everything. I use Bamboom as an eyeshadow base when I want something that is close to my skin tone.
