It's just an unwearable color in my opinion, and I guess alot of other people think that too. I think wearing it lightly, or in a sheer way (usually makes most bright colors more wearable) it just gets chalky, and has that look where someone didn't apply enough of it and it sorta is missing something. The way that some, or most cheaper brands look on the eyes. Like whoever applied it didn't apply enough, you know?

Satellite Dreams is definitely more wearable. Since it's a bit of a dirty purple, I find it beautiful both sheer and applied heavier. Especially nice on brown eyes.

parfait amour is a very tough colour to wear... while i love mine as a liner, it takes a lot of effort and prep to wear it as a lid colour.

try using silverbleu shadestick as a base... it makes parfait amour look much nicer.

I love Parfait Amour and never had a prob. wearing it. I didn't realize alot of people did. It probably depends on skin tone, eye color etc. I'm curious what the people who don't like it's coloring is. I mean obviously really warm tones it probably wouldn't work on. I'm NW20, drk.brown hair (red & blonde highlights)/drk. brown eyes. I like it in th crease or outer "V" with Swish blended into it on the lid and lots of Bltz & Glitz liner, hey I think I just deceided on my EOTD!

I'm an NW20, too, and I absolutely hate it. I like the color in the pot, but could never get it on my face right. Granted I was trying to use it waaaay back in the day before I had any idea bout finishes (I didn't know back then how much I HATE frosts) or things like UDPP or shadesticks or paints to make my shadows work better. But, even for a frost, I found that the color payoff was weak and unflattering.

Yeah, I wore it today and I see your point. I do like it on me but it's more greyish purple than bluey purple like it looks in the pan.

Really, I LOVE Parfait Amour. It's prettier than Satellite Dreams IMO, but that just goes to show how skin color and tone/undertone makes all the difference.

I'm NW15, and inbetween NW15 and NW20 (gotta mix Techs together to look right, and same thing with Fix Powder), with dark brown hair and light to medium brown eyes. I got Parfait Amour for my birthday in 2006. I used it many times, vibrantly, toned down, sheer, smokey, packed on, and I absolutely hated it. I returned it for Carbon this year, hahaha, because I just could not stand it at all!!

N15 (i use NC15 make up to tone down redness, with NW15 powder). Green eyes, red hair.

if i don't use a blue-y base (like silverbleu) it looks bruise-like on me.
