Is this true?

I was trying to get a hold of Parrot at my MAC counter at Macy's and guess what? They don't have Parrot and probably won't as one of the MA's told me. They don't have the Melon pigment either. And one other thing but forgot what that was. So their launch is pretty much incomplete and I have been there twice looking for it. Ugh now I just don't want it anymore but I am wondering if the Showy color is anything like the Parrot? Can someone do a swatch for me? Thanks! =)

I don't think so.

It has the same electric aqua color but not the *almost* duchrome-ness of Parrot.

I don't know why but I don't really like "parrot". I like the color, but the texture.. the way it goes on...

My counter didn't get melon pigment either but we have HELLA parrot eyeshadows and nobody is really bitting.

My counter didn't get melon pigment either. We also only got a very limited amount of everything. Only 9 of most of the shadows, glitters and pegments. We only got 6 Golden Olive pigments. Needless to say we're already out of refelcts teal, reflects antique gold and golden olive. We onl'y have two Parrot's left, I bought one. I called both of the MAC stores in order to use my disocunt but they were also out so I'm assuming they didn't get a large shipment.

That sucks! I like seeing the colors in front of me otherwise I would have ordered it online first thing. Now I don't even think I want Parrot anymore after going to MAC like 3 times this week.
Btw, what counter do you work at in SD? If you don't mind me asking. It seems that everyone here in SD didn't get everything and the things they did get, were in such small quantities. SUX!
