pastel eyeshadows colours/Bobbi Brown sandwash

I absolutly love the colours in Bobbi Browns sandwash pallette but i have heard bad things about it, that the colours don't blend well and are so sheer you can barely see them and all the colours seem to come out the same. Firstly is this true? and secondly does anyone know of another Pallete with similar pastel colours in it, or even individual shadows. If not MAC then i love bobbi brown, chanel, Dior, Nars, and estee Lauder just as much.

The shades in the pallete do look cute, but they do also look like the kind of colours which (especially on pale skin like mine) won't show up much at all, and I've a feeling some would come out extremely similar looking on the skin.

yea thats what i thought, i'd love them to come out as they look because the colours are so nice but they look very sheer. Also the pallette is a lot smaller than the other bobbi brown ones but still more expensive =/ hmm. Thanks a lot for your opinion anyway
