How to pre-order at Nordstrom

If you pre-order from a counter, you give the SA your credit card number. She rings it up when it becomes available for sale--whenever that is (she should TELL you). They usually just hold the item for you until you pick it up. Sometimes they give you a transaction # so they can find your stuff easier.
If you get to the store and hate it, you could just return it b/c Nordstrom is pretty cool about returns and--face it--you haven't even left the store yet. Just look at the display one and see if you like it.
You could probably ask the SA to ship the palette, but you might get charged shipping then.
I suppose that pre-ordering through the Beauty Hotline would work the same (you give them your CC #) but then they ship. They charge a lot for shipping through the Beauty Hotline (like $7 or eight bucks). Hope this helps!
