Perfection in Pink???

hey girls...
my question is kinda tuff.Im looking fer da perfecttt pink lipstik.Ive searched high and low fer da perefct pink,but to no avail.

infact wat most people call "pink", i do not!!!HUG ME seems orange on me..rimmel's asia is matte and lilac..mac's SYRUPY is too mauvy!"blankety" makes me look like a corpse!!Twig doesnt have a lustre finish and even Sweet and Single from da barbie collection seemed too plum.Real doll was a nightmare on my skintone!!
I'm NC 35 in studio fix powder,NC 37 in studio select.asian,yellow undertones,dark brown eyes.
I want sumthing dat springs my face to life,not matte or dull,but lustrous and buttery.I even like sheer alot...Da few pinks i ever came close to liking had a cheap matte chalky finish...!!
Sephora's opening up soon where i live...any chance there??
Viva glam 5 is da only pinkk ive liked so far...ever!!!Mid mauve is nice too, though a bit on da mauve side again.Something SHEER wid warm undertones,maybe a peachy pink(but no orange or brown please!)
Guess i've driven u crazy by now...but dont tell me i dint tell ya...

So...who'll be my saviour and suggest my "perfection in pink"???

How about "Lustering"? It's one of my faves, a warm-toned peachy pink which is sheer and buildable. I'm a completely different skin tone from you though (NW20) so can't guarantee it will work....

Try politely pink! I find it sheer and not too pink. I am significantly paler than you though (NW15ish) so give it a test!

well gals...sorry to break da bad news but lustering reviews say its pinkish red or fuschia ...watever...basically very bright...and politely pink is tooooo pale fer me...its pretty on paler girls though,i admit...but a far cry from wat im lookin fer...and i gave u guys viva glam 5 as ur cue...ummm...and theyre both different from it....veryyyy diffrent at dat!! so...how abt some more ideas??

p.s lustering luks divine on u by da way...!!!

Have you looked at the Slimshines? There are several lustrous, sheer pinks in that collection.

yes...kind of...but BARE is the only one that seems to hold any promise at all...the rest are either coral or too light...but even bare is a frost...so is long stemmed rose...and im not too fond of frosts...they tend to accentuate the lines on one's lips...!!

Don't go by the online swatches or how they look in the tubes on the display. You really need to try the Slimshines on your lips before drawing any conclusions about the colors. Even trying them on your hand is very deceiving. I know Bare is described as a frost but I have it and believe me it's no more of a frost than VGV. None of the Slimshines would accentuate lip lines like MAC's regular frost formula can sometimes do. You need to check out at least Bare, Long Stemmed Rose, Funshine and maybe even Gaily on your lips! Funshine actually looked like a blue-toned pink on me...your own lip pigmentation definitely comes into play with these.

Edited to add: After re-reading your original post I really think you will like Bare. Also, I too have yellow undertones and Embraceable is an LE lustre that works for me and is still available online. Rubia also looks pink - and beautiful - on me if you can get your hands on that.

Bombshell l/s is a very popular medium-pink.. I also suggest Strange Hybrid l/s =)

...i agree that bare looks promising and that i shouldnt go by the swatches alone...ill try the ones you said...hope i have some luck with 'em...thanxxxxx sweety!!

p.s strange hybrid looks frosty...again...but i'll check it out!

just saw gaily online guys...its really pretty...hope it isnt darker than VGV....long stemmed rose is gorgeoussss...they describe it as baby pink,i wouldnt...more of a peachy pink to me...bare is veryyyy similar to VGV...AND funshine,though nice, seems coral to me...is the collection out yet?

perhaps you would like to apply a lip concealer before your lipstick. The colors will turn out veri different.

im asian with yellow skintones as well. i absolutely love politely pink. it works well with my skintone and looks soft and subtle. =D

If you can find it, Giddy sounds like what you're looking for. It was a sheer warm pink with a hint of shimmer to keep it from looking too flat. I have no idea why they discontinued this color!!

You may also want to check out Plink! It's very neutral, IMO, and works well on its own or mixed with other shades.

Ay second dat Lustering. If ya want dat sheer effect, yo, check da slimshines. Theiramazing. Very sheer and nice colorz, unfortunately them's all Limited Iditsion if ya find ya HG you'll hafta buy lotsa backups, ya'kno??
Does it hafta be a lipstick? Cuz else I'd say go try dat awesome Plus Luxe Plushglass, it's warm and it's gon suit ya NC skintone well and it's sheer without a chalky finish ya'know what I'm sayin', give it a try if it doesnt hafta be lipztick.

My favorite pink lipstick that is PINK and not "peachy-pink" or "coral-pink" or that sort of thing... Is Sweetie. It's a Lustre, and it's very pink and pretty.

It's not like HOT PINK or CANDY PINK, it's just PINK. To me, it's the perfect pink.

hey y'all...ill chek out the slimshines when they come out where i live...and plink too...and all that u suggested...for now, i just got viva glam v lipglass...and nymphette...which i ended up returning...honestly, its HIDEOUS wen u wear it...tooooo gold on me...very pretty in the tube though...anyway, thanx...lov y'all..!!
