Hey, Ive had the same hair for about 5 months now and I'm thinking about changing it. Here is a picture (about 3 months old)... the red highlights quickly faded to an orange/brown/blond color that i hate. Do you think bangs would be too much? or about hair color? thanks

Bangs are a good idea! Blunt, thick ones wouldn't really work for your face, but some whispy ones that can either be side-swept would bring attention to your eyes (which are really, really cute by the way). Shorter layers would work well also. As far as colour is concerned, I would lose the chunky highlights and do an allover chocolate brown or mohogany.

I think you should go for a more natural look with the color. Maybe a dark rich brown. It'll warm up your face and a nice shade of dark brown always looks chic.

As for the cut, layers are key but not too short layers. Short layers on a round face don't work well with each other. So the shortest layers should hit about below the cheeks. As for the overal length the length you have in the pic looks fantastic. It'll looks softer and have more movement due to the layers. Plus since you've been growing out your hair quite a while I assume you'll need to get the ends trimmed up a bit to get rid of any damaged that could've happen along the way.

To soften the shape of your face even more side swept bangs will work well.
