I'm new at this, so this is my first try, as this is the first time in my 29 years that I have taken makeup seriously to really wear it.

FACE
Olay Touch of Sun Face Moisturizer in Medium to Dark (I HATE foundation, I won't wear it. This lotion makes your skin soft, adds a tint of color when it dries, and it helps your skin look even and smooth).
Maybelline Bronzer Medium to Dark (I put this on before any other makeup to add base color, and then I top off the look in this color to set it because it's a loose powder).

EYES
***I had Lasik surgery done in March of 2007, so this is a good combination that won't flake and fall in my eyes. Other brands used to flake and fall into my contacts or eyes***
MAC Eyeshadow in HoneyLust over entire lid
MAC Eyeshadow in All That Glitters over entire lid (just a light dusting as to tone down the sparkle of HoneyLust)
MAC Eyeshadow in NanoGold in the Crease
MAC Eyeshadow in Retrospeck to highlight the browbone
MAC Eyeshadow in Tempting on corner of outer lid (I go from a 1/4 of the way in to the outer lid)
MAC Liner in Powersurge (upper outer lid/corner)
MAC Liner in Teddy (lower lid)
Maybelline Volume Express Curved Brush Mascara in Brownish Black

CHEEKS
MAC Blush in Buff
Revlon Cream Blush in Just Peachy (I apply this just barely above the cheekbone...it lasts all day!)

LIPS
MAC Lip Pencil in Spice
MAC Lipglass in C-Thru

This is a good combination of colors for someone who does not have a lot of experience with makeup. It is also a good combination for adding color without going overboard, especially for someone who is used to natural looking stuff.

Any suggestions for other colors would be great!
