the kit is bascially the brushes which i say are a must, the foundation, warmth and mineral veil i think. Mineral Veil reminds me of blot powder even tho i never used it. it takes away shineyness and helps your make-up last longer also. warmth is a great face color that looks good on everyone. makes you look awake are not so dull.

i would also reccomend a blush.. my favorite is beauty. clear radience is good too because u can use it on the face as a loose powder or even as an eyeshadow.

and if you dont like the warmth they make other colors. i remember one is called glee. i want to try those out too.

i would start out with the basic stuff at first and see how you like it.

so i should get the starter set thingy... i was looking at the site and it seemed like a lot, but i dont even know how to use it... i dont use foundation cuz it seems really cakey to me... no matter what i try it always seems too light or too dark and def. too thick. so i used powder for a while (but then that annoyed me) so now im just using tinten moisturizer and i've been looking for a decent foundation and i've seen pics of girls (on here) with bare minerals and it looks really natural. so i thought i would try it out. so should i get the starter kit or just the foundation and the brush?

I would go for the kit. I also got a kit, but it was off QVC and only had one brush. I ended up buying the concealer and kabuki brush seperatly. I think warmth would look really good on you and I'm sure you can return it if you dont like it.

plus in the kit u get the bareVitamins Skin Rev-er Upper which i think is like fix +. my kit was gay and didnt have that. i wanna know how it works. and its two shades of foundation so a color match is easier.

do they test it to see what's closer... like if one color matches u perfectly, can u get two of the same color?

the kit comes with two shades so you can customize to perfection (even though I usually only use one at a time, but we've already established that i'm lazy). i think the kit is the best bet for beginners, that's what i got. everything individually is pricey but the value on the kit is outstanding. the makeup isn't full size, it's not tester size, just smaller then if you bought the foundation individually. I like it b/c when i run out, all i'll have to buy is the foundation b/c i'll have everything else. i also love the blushes and all over face colors, like the clear radiance and warm radiance. i'm rambling now but only b/c i love this stuff so much!

this is also a great deal!
