If you can get them in samples and like bright colours:
- True Chartreuse (can be sheered to a primary yellow colour and looks like Bitter e/s or true to jar colour depending on application)
- Primary Yellow
- Clear Sky Blue
- Marine Ultra (The perfect bright royal blue that weirdly goes on darker the less you use)
- Electric Coral (must have if you have blue eyes and/or pale skin)
- Rose (soo pretty! Applies paler than it looks in the jar unless you put too much on. Can be sheered down further to bring out the gold shimmer more - therefore this pigment has a lot of 'looks' it can do. One of my favourite colours from MAC).
Basics:
- Black Black (i find it easy to work with especially with mixing medium or Smashbox Offset , Black Black in very small quantities makes the best eyeliner for me - lasts through showers and sleep).
- White Gold (though i wouldnt call this a 'basic' colour - it shines gold or pale green depending on the light. All eye looks take on a mermaid/ethereal look with this as a highlight/wash).
- Crease colours such as Deep Brown (matt Pro), or Chocolate Brown (shimmery reg?).
Theres a great (and authentic!) MAC sample seller on Ebay that i highly recommend if you cant get what you are looking for:
username: nownowbenice
Shes just put her prices up to 8 pounds (including p&p) for 5 samples (LE, discontinued, Pro, Glitters, Water Medium - happy to answer questions regards availablity) and all the other Mixing Mediums as 5g samples for 3 pounds. She may drop the prices again on some auctions - they tend to be a bit inconsistant (i always go for the cheapest!).
