Pimps Up, Hos Down!

I need a face chart or eye makeup recs for a Pimps and Hos party I will be attending in two weeks.

I am wearing a sheer, black shrug that ties under the boobage with long ruffly sleeves that are tied with pink ribbons. Under I am wearing a plain black bra. I rigged a pair of boy shorts so that a pink ribbon laces up the sides and ties in a bow that peeks from under a ridiculously short mini.

I guess I want to have pink lips so I needs some recs for eyeshadow.

Should I just wear Bare Canvas with loads of Blacktrack fluidline and focus the color on my lips or should I keep the lips nude and use Girlie and Haux as shadow?

Wow. I figure I'm probably showing my age (43 yrs. old), but I intensely hate the idea of a Pimp & Hos party! And I swear I'm not being mean or snobby...more like I just don't get it, I guess. But...that being said...some thoughts come to mind. And I'm assuming you are to dress the part of a 'Ho, correct? Makeup and all?

Seems like maybe smeared dark eyeliner all around the eyes, lip liner kind of smeared outside the lips and lipstick kind of, well, worn away from the center of the lips, 'cause, well...that area does get worn in that particular occupation. I think something pretty noticeable eyeshadow wise, something that would draw the attention of the customer's driving by, right? Sheese. I'm so out of my element here! LOL!

I'm none the less intrigued, even as I cringe! Maybe the idea is just to dress the part, and have flashy but neat makeup? Cannot wait to see other's ideas who actually know what their talking about with this! Now, drag makeup I'm familiar with and can do, but with this I'm at a loss.

"life isnt a garden so dont be a ho" lol.. umm i would wear a black eyeliner and smudge it. then use a shimmery blueish purple for your eye shadow. lips? umm use a pink shimmer

Well I think in this instance you can probably play up your eyes and lips!! Lots of Black eyeliner and Mascara maybe even false eyelashes and glossy, glossy lips. hths

Well, there is almost a 15 year difference between us so I can see why you wouldn't get it.

The Pimps and Hos idea came after we exhausted 3 other party themes over the years. High Society, Nerd/Geek, and Western. We wanted something fun and out of the ordinary so we had a reason to get together, get dressed up and party with our group of close friends. Most of my friends are having babies and growing up so we wanted to be "young and free" for one night.

Thanks for the recs. I'm going with the Blacktrack and color on the lips. I want Playboy Bunny Ho, not Crack Ho. I promise to post pics of our crazy night for those who won't judge.

I'd go with the kind of porn-star/Pamela Anderson look-- grey smokey eyes, lots of mascara with false eyelashes, pinky flushed cheeks, and superglossy pink lips.

you should look at pics of pam anderson and carmen electra because their make-up is always beautiful and usually geared toward that look.

I forgot about "living Hos" like Pam and Carmen. They do have fabulous looks. Not too trashy, not too nice...

I really think you should do more vivd colors on the eyes. Like wear the pink lipstick (if you have bright pink even better!) and then go with a pink eyeshadow like Sushi Flower from lashline to crease, Sprout (MAC) on the outer corner, blacktrack fluidliner, False eyelashes, and Purple eyeshadow in the crease and under the eye?

I would definately go with the pam look - dark dramatic eyes and nude GLOSSY lips!
