Planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta - Advice would be great! :)

Hey everyone!

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to puerto vallarta, and I always love to hear other peoples travel experiences, what to do and what not to do, where they stayed, whether it was worth it, and what they would do differently about their trip now.

I always get the greatest advice from all of you,
so for those of you who have gone to Mexico, what advice could you give me?

Just the two of us are going, we are going all-inclusive, we want to stay near the beach, and probably for 7 days.

I love Puerto Vallarta... it's like a jungle on the mountain meets the ocean. It's beautiful- even when it storms. You must go this restaurant called Barcelona Tapas... it's so romantic and they have great sangria with a view of the port so you can see the fireworks off the ships. The food is awesome too, I liked their potato croquettes.

What I love about going to Mexico is the slower pace of life. There is no need to even wear a watch (love not keeping track of time) because a lot of stores stay open late and there is always a street vendor with delicious food open late. Puerto Vallarta has one of the best water filtering plants and the streets are very clean.

I've stayed in condos when I've been so I can't comment on where to stay, but I do know you will have a wonderful time.
