Please help me with my asian eyes!

Hi!

It´s me again.
Still don´t know what to do with my eyes...
Any suggestions?
Should I line my waterline for example? With black, or brown color?
I have seen snowkeis tuts, but I don´t want to use that much makeup.
I just want some lighter eye makeup for work.
Just so people see that I do think of my appearance and put an effort in looking nice...

I do curl them sometimes, but honestly...no big different.

I have very saggy skin on my eyes, so my eyelids are hanging over my eyelashes.

So if I curl my lashes, I can only curl the tip of my lashes. (well, I curl from the root, but it´s only the tips that will show and look curled)
And the curls fall very easily.
Imagine the look, the fake lashes are curled very nicely, and my lashes ends up pointing straight downwards.
If you stand near, you really see the lashes point at different directions...

Do you think I can use some mascara to "glue" the lashes together?
I have never got to try that...

Do you have any suggestions in what pair of mac lashes would suit me the best???

Have you ever tried eyelid glue? I think that would make eye makeup application sooo much easier.

I did try it, some years ago!

I didn´t like it tho...
It was hard to get them the same, and the constant worry if one falls...the same worry when having fake lashes...

I know I have "difficult" eyes. (I think mostly because of the "wing" on my outer side of the eye...)

I love asian eyes, just not mine. They look tired, angry and old...

I'd use some mascara on your lashes; that will begin to waken your eyes.

I would line your eyes, not going into the waterline (it bothers by contacts) in a thin black line. Even if you can't see the top line with your eyes open, you do open and close your eyes a lot, so people will see it.

I think you have beautiful eyes, they are just more difficult to apply makeup to! I think the false eyelashes would work, just apply the lashes and use mascara to sort of make them stick together and then when you use your curler while the mascara is still a little bit wet pinch them together, thus making them curl and stick...I recommend Ardell lashes over MAC's, they are a lot cheaper and a little bit more sturdy than MAC's...but I def. recommend the glue mac sells called 'duo eyelash adhesive' it's the best. Here is a link to some awesome cheap lashes!

You can also get them at sally beauty!
Sally Beauty Supply
**Ardell also sells a mascara that is specifically made to use with the lashes and they sell a lash cleaner!
I would def. try this technique but if it doesn't work out for you, you may want to consider fresh look colored contacts, they are a really easy way to 'dress up' the eyes! Another thing you can do to make them up is by applying white eyeliner on your waterline, and black eyeliner directly under your waterline...Hope this helps!

There are 3 things I consider important when it comes to asian eyes.

1. Define: Instead of fake lashes, you can go a little heavy with lining your top lashline with liquid liner or pencil. I prefer a gel or liquid liner because they last longer. Then line from the outer third of your lower eye to the center of the eye. Soften the line with matching black or brown shadow. You can either use matte or shimmery shadows to soften the lines.

2. Contour: Asian eyes tend to have lots of lid space to work with so using a mid tone shadow helps give it some depth. I like MAC's Wedge if you want a daytime neutral eye. A wash of this shadow on the sockets of your eyes will give it depth.

3. Highlight: I love using champagne or soft pink shimmer shadows to highlight the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes. This will awaken your eyes and soften the look of the lids. MAC's eyeshadow in Ricepaper is great.

Bonus:
Color: Keep intense colors close to the lash line or a wash of soft colors all over the lid (but not up to the eyebrows!)

Eyebrows:
Make sure you've got the right shape to frame the eyes. Keep them defined and strong if you want to have a balanced focus on the eyes.

Thank you for saying I have beautiful eyes!
I´ll try your technic, but I must be honest...sometimes I just feel like cutting my eyelashes...Haha!

I went to my MAC today, the didn´t have fluidline at the moment.
Maybe I´ll go in tomorrow and see if they´ve had time to refill...

It´s really hard to find a good liner. But I think the fluidline would work quite good...

No problem I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it! But I know what you mean, I have the same problem with my brows they are so stubborn, sometimes I feel like shaving them off and just drawing them on...but then I talk myself down lol

Asian eyes can be stressful at times. I know I get stressed out because I have monolids! For a natural look this is what I do...

I fill in my eyebrows with estee lauder eyebrow powder. Then I use a eyeshadow base like UDPP or you can even use foundation on your lids I do that sometimes also. Put wedge eyeshadow on your lid starting from the corner to the middle in circlular motions and slightly weep the brush towards the inner corner of your eyes with the 224 brush (this will kind of define your crease, in my case I'm making an imaginary crease). If you want a little more pop you can add tempting or woodwinked eyeshadow right over wedge and blend with the same brush. Leave the space between the crease and lower lashes bare (does that make sense?) like....don't add color all over the lid just put in the crease area. I use black fluidline and create a wing with the 214 brush. You can also create a wing with liquid liner. Put black mascara on your eyelashes. I use Katie B Faux mascara. (Katie B. Cosmetics) I don't ever curl my eyelashes because they stick straight anyway just like yours. That's all I do for a natural look. It's pretty quick and easy. Sometimes I only fill in my eyebrows, line my eyes with black liner, and put mascara on and I'm out to work or school. I hope this helped...lolz kind of long and wordy. If there is something that was unclear just ask me and I can try to say it in a better way.
