So, I have a 'date' sort of.... with my ex boyfriend I'm in a situation where I'm moving back to NYC on the 20th so I don't want or need or desire to have a boyfriend right now, so I don't intend on getting back together with him... HOWEVER, I want to knock his socks off when he sees me! (It's been awhile since I saw him last...) So my CRISIS is....

He always liked when I wore dark, smokey eye makeup. He said it looked sexy and he liked the darkness. However, he loves me without makeup at all, or atleast wearing something neautral. A lot of my guy friends prefer me with little makeup rather than dark eyes or a bold lip.

SO, do I go sexy? Or do I go neautral, girl-next-door-you-should-want-to-marry?

Mind you, I love this kid to death. and him me.

But decisions decisions! Please help

This is probably too late, but to me smokey eyes = look but don't touch, i.e., I'm gorgeous but you can't have me; while more neutral, romantic makeup (neutrals and pinks/peaches) = I'm interested and approachable, i.e., talk to me about reconciling.

crap. i'm probably too late but i agree with most of the previous posters with the softer smoky eyes and the neutral lips look. yes, keeping things cute and neutral gives the vibe of "i'm approachable and let's reconcile!" like a previous poster said.
