A fast and furious make-up look; we went to see Nine Inch Nails* last night and it started much earlier than I had expected so I had to super-scramble to get my face on in time!

It's been ten years at least since I last saw them (cue Janice having a heart attack at the thought) so it was nice to see what has changed and how much of the show is still the same. Good to see he still doesn't talk much, at least that hasn't changed!

Thank you! Normally I keep all my crazy for my lips and keep my eyes more neutral, but I've seen some look books for Australian Fashion Week recently and there's some beautiful bold jewel-tone eyes walking this year. Next up I'm going to work an emerald eye and see how that plays.

Very pretty! I like how soft and light it is but then there's the awesome contrast of the dark/black eyeliner. Great 'look'!

I saw NIN in concert on Halloween 3 or 4 years ago. Pretty cool show, I hope you enjoyed yours, too!

which reminds me. I heard a Shu Umera MUA talk about bright colorful lips w/ neutral, subdued eyes and how that is hot right now - especially at this year's fashion week (what with all the bright pop of pink lips). He was commenting on the difference from the smoky-eyes neutral lips of year's past. you're ahead of the game!

Thank you! I normally avoid purples like the plague but I may have to start using them more often. They're a real hit or miss colour for me.
