Porcelain Beauties: MAC Style Black Collection

For you fellow pale ladies out there (and anyone else who wishes to comment of course!), what do you think about the style black collection for your skin tone? Do you think that it will be too dark for you to pull off? How do you think that you are going to tone down some of the products so that they are wearable for you? Are you going to rock the dark products, or maybe skip them because you feel as though they might wash you out further? How do you feel about it?
Please feel free to share all thoughts and opinions, please keep the posts nice and friendly of course, but I don't think that will be a problem. Happy dicussing!

i dont think that i will go for any of the lip products (they are too expensive to just be an occasional colour). i am more of a dark eyes/nude lip girl, so i will definitely rock the MES, and the nail polish.

i also dont like wearing darker lips as they draw attention to my hormonal acne (damn you hormones!)

but i know alot of ladies will rock this collection

I'm an NW15 and will skip probably all style black lip products except for maybe a gloss (its intriguing, and I like layering colours so maybe a light colour with a bit of black gloss---which'll not be terribly opaque I believe).

But MES are my weakness, and if all four of them have noticeable colour differences like with the different blue pearl, etc then I'll probably get them all. If on my lid they just look black, then I'll prob just get one.

I'm NC15, even paler than that in the winter and I can't wait for this collection. Right now I want almost everything i'll be rocking the dark lip and eye. I think this collection will look stunning on us pale girls, the contrast between the make up and our natural skin tone will be just stunning.

I'll admit I was a bit of a goth in my teens so this look doesn't scare me as I wore it in the past but now i'm in my mid 20's I still think i'll be able to pull this off but in a more classy/grown up way. Plus my friend are used to me rocking the smokey eye and red lip with lashing of eyeliner so this shouldn;t be much of a shock to them. My cult of cherry matteens also get alot of use

so this will only be a little step up for me

I'll skip the black lipstick not because it's too dark for my skintone because I don't think it is, but because I wouldn't wear it, ever

but lipglosses are hot, trust me. Just layer them over bright lipsticks and it's going to give you such gorgeous results.

I'll be skipping the dark lippies, except for the glimmerglosses. I can't wait for the MES and greasepaints, though...they will be so hot for the fall!! And the polishes

I am just so excited!

I can't wait to get Brash & Bold (that new magenta pigment) and layer that one glimmerglass with violet shimmer particles!!

I'm not a PPP, but I think the Style Black products would be the hottest on the lightest and darkest ends of the skintone spectrum. Just a personal opinion.

I am so excited for the Style Black collection! I probably wouldn't wear the black lipstick very often on its own, but I think it would be great for darkening other lip colours.

I'm PPP and I think I'll be skipping this collection altogether. Not because I think I'm too pale for it, just because it's not my thing. Unless I fall in love with some of the eye products when I see them which is totally likely.

i'm pretty pale and i can't wait for this collection!

i'll be rocking the glosses over red lips for nights out - i think it'll look really hot!

and the mes look and sound amazing and i wear black shadow anyways so that is nothing new for me

i think pale ladies will look lovely in this collection - just depends how brave you are!

I'm NC15 and like most others, I'll be skipping the lip products. I'd love a couple of the MES, and I hope I'll be able to do them justice. I'm still perfecting my smokey eye technique (it currently ends up looking like a hot mess, need more practise!), but I should have it down by then.

I'm also very pale (NW15) and I think I will pass on the black lipstick, but not because it would too dark for my skintone. I actually like wearing dark lip colors, I think it gives a very sophisticated look. But I just don't see myself wearing black lipstick other than for a costume party.

I'm also lighter than an NC15 and I am so, so excited about this collection. I regularly wear black eye products so the eye products in this collection will be nothing out of the ordinary for me. As for the lips, I'm going to leave the true black lipsticks alone (although I would have rocked the pants off of them in high school...) and stick with the Glimmerglasses.

I am beyond thrilled at the opportunity to incorporate some edginess back into my makeup style but in a glamourous way rather than a "oooh I'm hardcore lookit me" way that I would have done in my younger years. LOL!

I'm super PPP and I won't be doing the lip products for this collection. I think that they will wash me out and look harsh, but I'm excited to see what they look like on others!

i am really pale but i will rock this collection. i also will not get the black lipstick, not because i do not like dark lip colors (i love red and hot pink!) but because i am not sure about it in general..

I'm thinking most of this collection is not for me

I love the black goth look on others - especially those with porcelain white skin can really pull it off. But on me it just looks wrong.

I love the idea for the collection! not sure about the dark lips as im a pinky/nude lips kinda girl! Im a big fan of dark eyes! so super excited!

I'm pretty excited about this collection.
I'll rock the dark without fear! I will most likely skip the lipstick, but I am absolutely going to pick up at least one of the glass for layering and MES. I can't wait!
