Other than that, I have to be very careful because when I'm in Germany and send stuff home or fill out forms, they'll always send it to a different house (1 and 7 look completely different). Once I mailed myself some wine and my mom some nice collector's dolls and this little girl down the street had received the package and wanted to keep the dolls. Good thing she didn't open the wine.

I once lived in the same building than my cousin (a man, masculine name... no reason to mix up), and never in a year and a half they mixed up our mail, but when I moved out and asked for a mail transfert, I started receiving his mail!!!

I had to make 2 phone calls and it was ok after that.

Wow, seriously the post office is so screwy lol. My dad gets mail with his brother's name on it (he lives in New York City and we live in Pittsburgh). But that's only because my uncle owns a house here that he rents out to people to make money and all the tax documents and stuff get sent to my dad who takes care of it. But before I knew all of that was going on, I'd get sooo confused whenever I'd get a letter with some weird asian name on it and our last name on the end of the name haha.

Btw, I finally got my Sear's card in the mail! Boy was I seriously scared that this was going to be sent to some stranger on my street and be charged up by them! I've been thinking about convincing my dad to do online payments for bills and stuff so we don't get stuff sent to us in the mail and risk any late fees because we never got our statements. BUT I'm also at this point very much afraid of hacking on my computers (that's going to be another thread) so it's seriously a lose lose situation.
