I think because they've had to revert to a backup of the database. I'm just happy it's back up!

Oh, well the last time I was on, there was the black screen with green thing and I clicked off real quick, so I didn't see what it was.

OOOOh. OK. Well...I just posted a question about that in the Forum threads section...just ignore it (or delete it). I didn't wanna be a pest, but I was wondering what was happening. Thanks

If a site is 'hacked' personal information is compromised. No personal information has been compromised.

Although I'm not completely sure...but I *think* the diff. is that hacking is getting into databases, customer/client/member info., either for illicit use, or just for the "fun" of it (don't ask me why the hell some people think this is a fun thing to do). Hackers destroy sites, and can put 'bugs' in that can ruin a whole system.

I guess you could call defacement a form of hacking...it's when somebody gets into the site and screws with the graphics (like the other week when people tried to log in to Specktra and got that skull with the creepy music)...I guess that's the basic difference. Anyone can feel free to correct me
