Hi everybody! I'm looking for a powder foundation with light-medium coverage. I know MAC just came out with one...but I'm not a big fan of the packaging. I've heard of Bare Minerals, but a lot of people say that it makes dry spots on the face show up even more. Thanks for your help!

Clinique's perfectly real compact make up is great! The packaging is cute too

However lately I've just been using my MSF natural which provides a light coverage too!

The best powder makeup I have ever used is NARS, it doesn't look powdery or oxidize or look creepy pink . It also doesn't emphasize wrinkles, which is so cool. Duo Matte from MUFE is very, very good too, and it comes in a nice range of shades. Shiseido makes nice powder makeup-but there are a few too pink looking ones in the bunch.
I don't like mineral makeup much because in general it comes off shiny and metallic, and the more you buff it, the shinier it gets.

La Prairie's Cellular Powder Foundation. It has a flawless finish and looks great when buffed into the skin.

Laura Mercier powder foundation - best in terms of overall quality. Minus points for price and quantity per compact.

Merle Norman Luxiva - worked wonders on my combination skin. I don't like the packaging but the product itself is really good.

Stila IPF - good color selection and coverage.

Alima - very good color selection and best mineral powder foundation I have used.

Maybelline Pure Stay - drugstore version of MAC Studio Fix, IMO and much cheaper.
