Honestly it depends on how oily you are...individual skin type makes a big difference with this kind of thing. For instance, I'm too oily for powder foundations, my skin just sucks them up in a matter of hours...but other girls with oily skin on here have had good luck with the MSFNs and Studio Fix Powder.

I have oily skin andI use either the MSFN or Studio Fix Powder. I use Studio Fix on days when I am oilier and the MSFN when I am not too oily. HTH!

I used to be pretty oily and found that stopping the oil is far easier if you strip your skincare routine back and try to treat the problem.

Using an oil off cleanser or a foaming cleanser can really help to get rid of excess grease, I put the cleanser on my skin, let it sink in and then wash it off.

Apply moisturiser as you need and you will see that you have a lot less oil to contend with. If you still need powder it will be less than you originally needed.

I'd recommend Rimmel's Stay Matte range of powder, they were the first powders I used and they are my HG, plus they last ages!

I have really oily, blemish-prone skin too. I use Jane Iredale's "Abscence" under my mineral powder, which has a thick, creamy consistency. I just apply a light coat using a foundation brush. It helps the powder stick and I don't usually have to blot until I'm headed home from work at the end of the day.

I love Blot Powder Loose for my oily skin! Studio Fix Fluid foundation works great as well.
