Like I promised, another haul post!
I would have had this posted sooner, but unfortunately I was in the hospital. I went shopping last Friday (5/30) by myself, had a blast and spent wayyy too much money!
Oh well.
Onto the pictures!
All my non-MAC cosmetic haulage.
First stop was at Icing to take a look at their nail polishes. Since they were buy one, get one half off I picked up two:
- High Society
- Ktdid
These both will look great on my toes! Ktdid actually reminds me a lot of Nicole's Boys 'n Berry (purple version), which I love but was long ago discontinued.
Next stop was Bath & Body Works. I always try to stay clear of this store but it always sucks me in!
Anyways, I picked up the following:
- Liplicious Lip Gloss in FROZEN DAIQUIRI
- Liplicious Lip Gloss in PINK GRAPEFRUIT
- Liplicious Lip Gloss in GRAPE SODA
- Tropical Passionfruit Body Splash (Travel Size)
- Wild Honeysuckle Body Splash (Travel Size)
- Sweet Pea Body Lotion (Travel Size)
I actually meant to grab Irresistible Apple instead of Sweet Pea. I'll have to try and exchange it when I go to the mall for Cool Heat next Thursday.
Next it was time for the MAC counter at Macy's! My fav MA (Lauren) was there .. yay! I walked straight over to the Neo Sci-Fi display and started talking to the girls. I looked down for a second and all of a sudden I heard, ">gasp< You're cheating on the Bayshore counter!"
I look up and I see the MA that usually helps me when I go to that counter (darnit, I can't remember her name!). She then proceeded to tell me it was okay b/c she was transferred now to the Smithhaven counter.
I then asked Lauren if she could show me an eye combination with all of the eye shadows (minus Expensive Pink). The look she did came out gorgeous, but unfortunately I forgot to take pictures.
We then played with some of the other items from the collection. I have a little black book that I take with me to the counter with the names of items I want to look at and when she asked me about which Tendertones I wanted to pick up, I showed her the book. She got the biggest kick out of it!

So as I was paying we were talking about Cool Heat. She goes "You have to smell the new perfume .. it smells amazing! Hold on, I'll go get one out of the back so you can smell it!" She asked the counter manager (who happens to be the MA from the Bayshore counter) if it would be okay and she told her to go ahead. She ended up coming back out with the perfume and 4 of the eye shadows to show me. I'm a total perfume junkie and let me just tell you ... Turquatic Heat smells AMAZING! It's a perfect summer scent.
The eye shadows that she brought out for me to look at were Solar White, Warming Trend, Blue Flame & Cool Heat. I knew I was definitely going to be picking up Solar White & Warming Trend b/c I am more a neutral girl when it comes to eye shadows, but I am so picking up at least Blue Flame .. so gorgeous! She then whispered to me, "Do you want to buy some now?" I just about died!
I thought for a minute or two and then figured that I would only pick up one thing for now (since I just spent a ton) then get the rest when it came out. So I walked away with ...

So happy! I might actually pick up another one of these because I have a feeling this is going to become my signature summer scent this year.
I wanted to come home and type this up right away, but I was exhausted and figured I would do it the following day. That never happened because I ended up collapsing and then rushed to the emergency room via ambulance. I was in the hospital from Saturday morning until Wednesday afternoon.
I'm so happy to be home right now and get back to doing normal things. When I got home some goodies had arrived for me.
I had gotten 3 packages of items from LJ sales.
- Medium Blue Sateen Makeup Bag
- 1/4 tsp samples of all 4 Solar Bits
- Soft Ochre Paint Pot
- Melon Pigment
I love the Solar Bits so much that when I go back to the mall for Cool Heat, I'm going to see if they have any left!
I had also gotten my small order from MACcosmetics.com of 2 more Volcanic Ash Exfoliators. I think I'm pretty much set on it for a while.
Then yesterday (6/5) I received a swap in the mail!
