I want to return mine. The color doesn't match at all and this was after the second time. I had to bring it back to the store and have her reformulate it for me. I don't think tha tthis lady is capable of mixing a decent color for me. I am afraid that she is gonna give me a really hard time about returning it. I don't want to try remixing it again. The store is too far away from my house for me to keep going up there. I think it is such a rip off to pay 65 bucks for smthg that is supposed to match exactly when there are products like Mac and Bobby Brown that are a closer match and cost less. Is there a number I can call or smthg? What do I do?

I'm pretty sure you can just return it outright. People return & exchange used makeup all the time this shouldn't be any different.
Afterall, you're not happy with it, why should you be stuck with it.

Thanks for the reply, Fairladyz.
That's what I thought, but this lady was really giving me a hard time about it. When I was there, I suggested that I return it and she could remix me a sample. If the sample matched then I would come back and buy it. She said that she would just exchange it & remix it cuz that would be easier. if i didnt like it after she remixed it then I could just come back and try it again. Is this normal behavior for a makeup sales person? I am kind of upset by it for some reason.

Having worked sales myself (and as a manager), I can tell by what she said that she just doesn't want to deal with a return. It's better to please the customer the first time, or do as they request as best as possible, than to do whatever they want to do. I would not call that normal behaviour even though you see it so much. If it really upsets you that much go back and return it then request to speak to a floor supervisor or manager.
I had a situation that really tweeked my nerves too the other week at Saks of all places. I was very interested in purchasing one of the Bond no.9 fragrences (not cheep even with a discount). Well when one of the ladies came over to help me out she didn't want to show me the Bond fragrances, she kept trying to push cheeper ones on me that I wasn't even expressing interest in and kept saying no to. I was very upset about that and I WORK there. It's just ignorance.

Probably because I look too young to be in there or just wasn't dressed the part for the day LOL
I call the Saks I work in the Geriatric Ward because the age bracket leans more towards the 60+ women and their chauffeurs. All the clothes etc for 20-30s are on the basement level. But for all that the place reminds me of the book The Devil Wears Prada. It gives me a laugh.

Beautiful, I know for a fact you can return Custom Blends. The SA just doesn't want to lose the sale (commission), hence the suggestions for an exchange. Just be persistant, or even ask for a counter manager or department manager. I say when you spend that much on foundation, you need to be 110% happy with your purchase. Good luck to you!
