Pro Paint Sticks

Anyone out there use the Pro Paint Sticks? They look really cool, and I thought maybe they could be used as an eye shadow base (esp. for pigments and the C-Shock collection) but I just wanted to know if and how others are using them, and what colors you all are using. Thanx!

I only have one, polished ivory, but I use it on my lids almost everyday. It's a good base and holds either regular shadow or pigments really well. They last all day without fading!

I have one in "pure white"-- I bought it to use for halloween face paint, but I have since been using it regularly as a base. the bright white color is great if you want bold colors to pop. I use it very sparingly, too. I really avoid putting too much near my crease. To me, it's kind of between CCB's and shadesticks as a base... it creases less than CCB's but more than shadesticks/paint.

I've had it for going on a year and I don't think it'll ever run out! it's really creamy and very pigmented. think of high quality theatrical grease paint.

Burnt Burgundy paint stick with Reflects Blue glitter on top is beyond hotness. Not too eyesafe, but hot.

they are about 18.50 - 19.50 I believe, they sell only in the pro store, I own 8 of them and love them all a lot. I've skipped on some of the bases that have come out cause they are very close to these in colors.

what I like to do is use a little bit of ccb and then put the paint stick on with a brush, I would suggest washing the brush right after to get most of the color out or with darker colors they will be tinged like that.

my husband likes using these on me as body paints as well from time to time, they stay really well and the colors are great and show very well.

I love using my paintstick as a base - they're great for loose powders that don't stay put, make it easy to blend difficult products (mattes) and correct little mistakes along the way (just dab more on where needed). They can be a bitch to remove though!
I should add its best to apply a thin layer otherwise they may crease, especially if you have oily lids.

Mac Pro Paint Stick

I just saw this on the Mac Pro Site and maybe I want to order one.

Is it a good color payoff? Does it crease?

Great colour payoff and it will crease. Amazing bases though. I also use some colours as blushes or on the lips.

I have merged this with another thread on this topic. Remember searches.
