Problem with compact foundations... (pic included)

I've brought a couple of compacts, studio fix and mineralize skin finish and they've both ended up in the case quite hard... im wondering if it's because my brushes haven't fully dried before using them... if anybody could look at the enclosed pic and give me their opinion. Thanks!

My guess would be the wet brush probably helps breed bacteria on the surface of your foundation, or the oils from your skin have hardened the top. I would suggest scraping the top layer off, or cutting your losses and getting a new one.

I agree, using a wet brush could make powder foundations look like that.

It's more than likely the wet brushes. The good thing is you can scrape it off without losing *too* much of the product. I've had that happen before, and I just scratch it off with my fingernail.
