Professionalism and Absurdly Awesome Results

I was wondering, since I am a virgin to makeup, would it be best to go in to the MAC store in San Francisco (near where I live) and just get professional consultation for my skin, coloring, etc?

I don't want to pay onine for products that don't result but I also dont want to go all the way tot he city to get little help. I have lots of ideas about what I want and it would be helpful to know what you all think about it and what experiences you've had.

Well, if you know you'll spend the cash anyway, may as well make it worthwhile and book a makeover so you'll have someone dedicated to spend time with you. Swatches online are improving but they'll only take you so far, especially since foundations can work on individual skin differently colour-wise and texture-wise. You'll also be able to get samples to compare with whatever you buy to make sure it's right for you.

That's my 2 cents!

call and book a lesson

thats way a certified artist can go through and teach you some techniques on application...it's a 1.5 hours so it is well worth it and then you recieve 30% off additional products for 30 days i believe

And take images with you. Photos, mag pages, anything with a look that you like. That way the artist will better know your expectations and your "boundaries".
