Prom makeup! Pictures inside.

Hey everyone!

This is me in the dress I'm wearing for prom. I'm the one third from the right.

And here's a close up of my face from another dance - hair half up, curled.

What should I do with my makeup/hair for prom? Thanks in advance for the help all

i would do classic liner, with a red lip, but thats just me....

I would go all out retro glam.. silver eye with cat eyeliner and red lips

I actually wouldn't do a red lip because the dress itself is so red. I would do a strong gold-based cat eye with a really neutral blush and a light shimmery gloss on the lips. For your hair, I like the idea of an updo, like curling your hair and pinning it back; that would be really cute!

My friend had a similar dress for prom (color and cut).

She got her makeup done at Napoleon Perdis and they had given her a red lip (which she ended up taking off before taking prom pics). It was waaay too dramatic for her very pale complexion, especially with an already dramatic dress color.

I did like the other elements of her makeup, though. Shimmery-champagne colored eyeshadow and bold black liner on the top lid and also, rosy cheeks.

Prom is the most exciting event in your senior year besides graduation. (I graduated in 2007 and I miss high school!) I say, whatever you go with, just make sure you look and feel like a princess!

Retro metallic! A silver and red combo would be awesome I reckon ;D
