purple gel eyeliner

I love love love the vibrancy of MAC's electrolady liquidlast, but can't seem to get a nice line with it because the consistency is so thick.

I really like using gel eyeliners. Do you guys have any suggestions on a purple gel eyeliner that would show up as vibrant as electrolady? Any thoughts on Urban Decay's Ink for Eyes in Empire? I haven't been able to go to a store and swatch it, but I've seen the ad and it looks pretty vibrant. But the thing is I've looked at swatches online and they don't look as vibrant as the ad... any thoughts? Since Urban Decay is having a sale should I just get it and try it out?

Your right the color doesnt look as vibrant irl as it does in that ad. I remember my sister in law trying it on at the sephora store and it looked like a dark eggplant color. Maybe try bobby brown gel liner in violet ink?

Try Shu Uemura lining gel in Purple -- it looks more violet and applies very violetly:d

The purple that's in Stila's holiday smudge pot set is totally gorgeous. I emailed them to see if they are going to make it in the larger regular size and they said they are. They just don't have a release date yet. The holiday set is a really good deal.

My "go to" purple gel eyeliner is a drugstore find. Jane cosmetics. Label wore off, so I don't know the exact color name, but it was the only purple liner. Maybe you can ck that out. I bought it at Walgreens.
