I recently depotted all my e/s and didn't have any problems. However, I noticed that my Quarry e/s has a totally different texture now. There is a darker colored ring around the edge and on top of the ring it feels all waxy-ish. I think maybe I left it on the heat too long?
I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so, how did you fix it? I tried rubbing off the top layer with a paper towel, but that just made the dark ring darker. The middle of the e/s is still usable, but this is such a light color to start with that it kind of makes it a pain in the butt.
I've thought about crushing the whole thing up and repressing it. Any other ideas/suggestions?
