Question about Lipmix Compact

Is there any possibility to put some Lipglass/Lustreglass in it? Like the one's in last year's holiday palettes?

If so, how do I do it?

I haven't tried to put lipglass in the lipmix palette, but I dont think it would work very well since the case doesnt close airtight, like a lipglass tube would, so it would probably dry out quickly. The lipglass wouldnt harden like a lipstick does, since it doesnt have as high a wax content and it might just harden to a dry clump. Before it competely dries out, it would probably still be runny and if you turned it on its side at all it might make a mess.

I think to make a lipglass palette, you might want to try one of those pill a day containers where each slot opens individually and snaps shut, rather than MAC's lipmix palette.

I agree that the lipmix palette wouldn't work. It would probably be running everywhere.
The lipglasses that come in the compacts seem to have a diff consistency in the compact. Not as runny as the ones that come in the tubes.
Also, it would seem to be nearly impossible to get the lipglass out of the tube. Or it would take a century or so to scrape it out, bit by bit. Hmmmm, maybe more frustration than it is worth? I dunno.

VV, are you looking for a creative way to get more B2M containers? LOL

It doesn't work at all. I "depotted" my Nico to B2M, and put it in a small sample container and it ran all over the little container. That's ok, because it has a lid. It's a completely different texture than the LGs that have came in the holiday pallettes.

I added LOTS of lipglass to some lip conditioner (melted it all down, then let it cool in the palette) and it worked great. Careful not to smash the brush into it, but it stays fine and it's been in there 6 months and no drying out.
