question about removing eye makeup

if i use an eye makeup remover, can i use a cotton ball instead of a cotton pad?

Yes, but you'll get more loose cotton threadlets on your skin/in your lashes with a cotton ball.

Yes, but I think that you waste more product because the cotton ball soaks up more than a cotton pad does.
