Question about the 129 brush

I don't know where to put this, wanted Asked and Answer but it's closed to new topics.

I bought a 129 blusher brush SE version last week. As it's always in the pouch the hairs are kind of flat, a few are even straying away.

Today I was using it and I noticed two hairs sticking out so I pulled it and they came out. Then I noticed that there are two more hairs sticking out slightly, not noticeable if I don't look closer. They didn't come out though.

I'm wondering if it's normal for this to happen?

I have mine almost a year now and it never happened.

Sometimes new brushes will shed a few hairs, so if it keeps happening take it back to the counter where you bought it or return it if you purchased it online.

I have had mine for nearly two years now and it's just now beginning to shed hairs. I figure it is almost time to replace mine! But since yours is brand new, it shouldn't be shedding a whole ton. If you don't want it to be mashed flat (which will cause some of the hairs to stick out) store it in a way that the hairs aren't being mashed at all. I keep mine lose in my traincase, on of the the "shelves" with my othe brushes, no plastic.

So far it shed 2 hairs and I'm hoping it will stay that way. I keep it in that mac pouch because I put this mac pouch into my makeup bag and I don't want the hairs to get destroyed. It's a tight fit into my makeup bab though.
