Question about the 129 brush???

I'm very new to MAC brushes.
I meant to get the 109 brush and the sales associate didn't know what I was referring to and told me I probably meant the 129,so I just got the 129. I just read some reviews online, which says that its rough and sheds like crazy...is that true in your experience? Also what is it made out of? The MA seemed really unsure of what it was made out of when I asked her as well. Thanks!

i use the 109 to apply blush,u can use several brushes for that my fave is the 187.The 129 is a blush/powder brush, but i would use if for powder.
if your not happy go back and swap it for the 109.i don't know if it sheds i don't own that 1.for powder i use the 182.

The 129 is a blush brush. The SE version is really rough, but the regular or short handled versions are quite soft.

It's really sad that the MA didn't know her products at all.

I'd love to return it, but I used Macys money to pay for it and I'd have to pay the difference if I exchange. =(
Is it definitly natural hair?
I need a smaller/medium brush to apply powder with because I only apply powder in certain areas. so is this a good brush? I bought the regular, long handled one, so if its a good natural hair brush that doesnt shed, I'll stick with it. If not, I guess I'll have to exchange it when I go to work. =(

the reason she wasn't familiar with the 109 is cause its a store/online only brush. it isn't sold at counters.

its made of goat. it will shed initially when you start using it (as will all black-haired brushes). if you clean it with mac's brush cleaner, it will condition the hairs so that the shedding will taper off over time. if you're wanting something small to use for powder on certain areas, this is the perfect brush for this, so i'd say keep it.
