Question about the new eyeshadows that are coming out

the new VP ones.

I was talking to my MA and he said that the eyeshadows wont be glittery like they were originally going to be because the formula was messed up or something like that. They were just going to be normal eyeshadows-with no glitter.

Does anyone know anything about that? They said they would re-launch it with glitter next spring?

By "normal eyeshadows" do you mean matte? If so, then that' sounds strange. If it's matte, it wouldn't be a veluxe pearl. But they don't necessarily have glitter either. It's more of a shimmer.

VP description from maccosmetics.com : Vibrantly-toned. Velvety soft. Shimmeringly metallic. Veluxe eye shadow, now overlaid with high-shine pearl.

Veluxe Pearls arent glittery at all...they're more "pearlescent" they arent like lustres. I think you might be confusing the two...Lustres are really glittery and tend to have a glitter fallout. VPs are like butter and blend like butter....they're really soft and pearly and velvety...

Thanks ladies he just said that and I just couldnt figure it out.

he didnt say matte but he said the original formula wouldn't be out because of problems. So they may be the regular VP's? I dunno. Just parrotting what I heard

Form what I have heard the new Veluxe Pearls coming out in the Idol eyes collection were supposed to be duo-chrome. That may be why the formula isn't right...if the duo-chrome finish wasn't up to snuff, they may just be released as regular Veluxe Pearls.
