Question about web cam tutorials.

Hi!

I am interested in freelancing locally. However first, I would like to record a few short videos, as a marketing strategy, to post up on my blog. Besides, I would like to get feedback from those before investing too much time in this.

I am pretty much new to web cams, but know that a lot of videos that are posted have been recorded on them. So my question to all you guys and dolls is: How do I create the most natural lighting to showcase makeup application other than using-well,natural light? I do have a day job, and therefore would find it difficult to soot these with the perfect lighting. Do you use halogen lamps, led, or just white bulbs as opposed to your typical desk lamp bulbs???

Any feedback, and/or ideas for what could work will be greatly appreciated.

i'm not the best person but perhaps you could get a desk lamp and shine it at you but place ome white paper of material in front of it to spread the light around? or maybe that would be fire hazzard? not sure but i hope somebody can help!
