Questions about colors for me

Well, I'm pretty (very) new to make up (before this spring all I owned was DS black eyeliner, handforged powerpoint pencil, DS mascara, and studio tech foundation.), and I have no idea what sort of colors to use on my face (blush, e/s, ect.). I can't really describe my eyes in one color, so I have a couple of pictures for you.
Please excuse the pictures, they are really old and are really lame and I really hate them, but they are the only pictures I had uploaded, and my computer is being a crapface and won't let me upload any more. I hope they are good enough. I think they are taken in natural light, without flash. My hair color hasn't really changed, except the cut has.
Thank you sooooooooooo much in advance. I think are all really talented, and some of the things you guys do with makeup are really amazing.

Maybe u could try using some neutral colors first? Like some browns or beigey colors. Just to get used to the application of ur eyeshadow first but if u can't wait to get some color on ur eyes, you could try use a bright colored eyeliner. I'm not too sure if this is really good advice, but thats what i used to do.

If you've got a MAC counter nearby, I recommend setting up an appointment. I think mine charges $50, but you can apply that towards product purchases. I think it'd be really beneficial considering it sounds like you're basically starting at square one and they would be able to see you in person and put products on you.

if you're looking to branch out from browns/neutrals, with your coloring, i'd definitely start with greens.

i could see you rocking some golden olive pigment (mac) with humid eyeshadow in the crease.

Your eyes look green... maybe you should try purples? (MAC- Satellite dreams, Stars N' Rockets, Floral fantasy, Creme de violet) HTH

I agree that your eyes look green, so I would try plums, purples and eggplant colors to bring out your features. If your interested in MAC colors, I would def reccommend Trax because it isn't a crazy bright color but it does have nice gold sparkles to it. As far as blush goes I would go with something light in color. Good luck.
