Random Recommendations needed- Colored Contacts? Any recs?

I would like some color contacts. Right now I have green eyes (but in the picture below they look a dark grey) and I want more blue eyes. If any of you wear colored contacts can you let me know which brand you use? And I know you cant see in the lighting but are my eyes more dark colored or light colored?

Which color blue do you think would look best on me (from the different colored contact lenses-acuvue and freshlook?) Thanks ladies!

I have always gotten Freshlook (for more than 5 years now) They look more natural. I have dark brown eyes & I wear hazel and no one thinks I wear contacts

I agree! I have always used Freshlook and they look very natural. Every time I need to get new contacts I always buy Freslook. I have dark brown eyes and I wear Turquoise and they look VERY natural. I get mines and JC Penny and they let me try all the colors before buying, so you might want to check a store that lets you try the colors before hand so you know what color suits you best!. Be sure to go witha friend so you can get an honest opinion!

If you wanna get opaque lenses, Elegance or maybe Natural Touch. I know MacVirgin uses Elegances in Light Green

I don't own Elegances or any color contacts actuall, but I've been wanting them foreeeeeever and have seen tons of pics and they look neat! hth

I use Freshlook too. My eyes are naturally gray and I've had both blue and green contacts, and I loved both of them. My absolute favorite ones were the blue ones that looked almost turquoise before I put them in, put they turned my eyes a deep almost purpley blue. Gorgeous!! Most places will let you try colored ones out before you have to buy them, so I think you'll find one that you like. Good luck!

I've been using Freshlook Colorblends for a few years now, and I think that they're pretty natural-looking, as compared to the Acuvue contact lenses, which are pretty much ONE color, so they look a bit too fake. I naturally have dark brown eyes, but have tried wearing green, grey, and blue(!) contact lenses from Freshlook. Up close though, you can see the contacts, but it's not like somebody's going to go up to you and literally STARE at your contacts, right? (I've had that before, but that was only because my co-worker was being stupid at the time).

They make many that are tinted for many colors you may want - if you want long term - like last a year go w/ Cibasoft. It really depends on the diameter of your iris. Companys stick to around 14.0 but going to an eye doctor is the best way to get the right fit and the right lenses so they don't moove around on your eye, making the color change obvious. Since you have light eyes, you do not need painted (opaque) contacts which naturally look fake. Cibasoft has really been my favorite brand back in the day plus they make a smaller diameter which fits my iris. After years of color change I went to my natural frost blue eye. But I'm craving a lense that makes my eyes true Amber brown like Jessica Simpsons. Sadly I haven't found them yet.
