oh sweetie-

i should tell you they dont have it. Try to buy it-put it in your basket and then when its time to check out it will say that its not available.

I learned that the hard way about 3 months ago

It's frames or something I think. But it is the real thing.
I might write a complaint to them about that.

Do they actually have stock though? It seems that orders are processed by M·A·C

They have a lot of other discontinued products listed which can no longer be found at M·A·C like Bubbles and Underground lipsticks.

It would be great if this was indeed a place to get discontinued items - please let us know how you get on

You know I have no idea. But I plan to find out what the BS false advertising is about. I'm kind of pissed now b/c I REALLY want De Menthe and Guacamole.

They're idiots! *s* I've done that before....go through the whole list of e/s and along with the ones you aren't sure they have, also check the box for one that you know is still available, then you add to the cart & it will only put in the ones they have. When I tried it but only tried adding ones I thought had been waaay gone, it bounced me back to the main MAC spash screen. It's insane and misleading and highly annoying....I wonder if they've gotten complaints & if so, why they don't update it.

No, it's the real deal. Lots of companies with large online retail operations have multiple servers handling the load and one way to manage them is to call them www, www1, www2 etc. It's the macys.com part that's important in determining whether it's authentic or not rather than anything that comes before it.

I'm sure they've gotten plenty of complaints, and they're certainly getting one more from me tomorrow. It really doesn't matter who's responsibe for updating it or not (actually it's almost worse if the parent company is at fault), the fact is that it should have been done in the first place.

Fairlady, you're right & I'm glad you are going to complain. You can add my name to it, too if you like.

it happened to me too... they did have fine china lipglass for awhile tho, but one time I ordered and got LE stuff they emailed me like the next day saying they didn't actually have it.
