Really Dumb Moment with Picture Proof

I was de-potting all my Eyeshadows and Blushes

and got really into it.

I had my last blush to do.

Unfortunately it was a Creme Blush!

SO Anyway...I put the pan on the straightener and waited a couple of minutes then picked up the blush to transfer it over and all the NOW MELTED Creme blush went EVERYWHERE!

LUCKILY I didn't lose that much product but STILL!

Afterwards I said to myself

"What an idiot. Creme Melts!"!

No idea why this didn't occur to me BEFORE I did it?

Anyone else done something equally umm...special?

Just so you know heating it probably killed all the preservatives. So just be careful now when you're using it and always check for a different smell or texture.

Oh my. You're not gonna still use it are you? I agree with the poster above me. Becareful with it. I had a creme foundation that was utterly ruined because I accidently forgot to remove it and let it stay under my bed lamp.

Well, last year not too long after I bought the pretty Viva Glam red furry palette for my daughter she left it in the seat of her car not thinking about the sun beating down on it. And she opened it before she told me about it. I was going to have her put it in the fridge to see if it would help. What a yucky mess. I couldn't say much to her because Lord knows I've had my share of "special" moments. I know it doesn't help your blush but at least you're not alone in these things. Sadly with me as menopause sets in more these type of things happen more often. Yeah, I know just what you wanna hear right now.

Okay...not really interested in risking it, my skin is too sensitive to mess with! Haha...Thanks for the advice, Im going to throw it away!

Hmm... I haven't had any major depotting accidents... But I have ruined about 5 lipsticks by putting the lid on them while it's still up. Why I've done that, I have no idea!

Thankfully, I haven't done that to my MAC lipsticks, just some drugstore lines, haha.

Oh man...I left my Smith's Rosebud Salve in my car while I was at work one day. When I got back in my car (after the Florida summer sun had been beating down on it for nine hours), I whipped open the top to apply some, only to have it slosh alllll over my pants, my seatbelt, my FABRIC seats, etc....It wasn't *too* hard to clean up, but my car smelled like waxy roses AKA old lady for ages!
