Rec for Renting Cabins/Houses in Tahoe?

Hi there lovelys,
So me and a couple of my friends want to go to Lake Tahoe around 8/5 - 8/10 but we've been checking craigslist and nothing is showing up for 8 Bedrooms. We have the money, its just nothing is showing up! So im hoping you guys would know if theres any direct people i can call or direct websites i can visit to rent a cabin..

i was going to say maybe looking into a timeshare if you have the money, but i can't really tell if you want it for vacationing short term or actual renting for an extended amount of time. if it's the latter then looking into a timeshare might be a good idea. 8 bedrooms though? i would think that would be both #1, crazy expensive and #2, nearly impossible to find. there's big houses in tahoe, but i don't think that big!

if it's only a couple of your friends, you might want to consider something a little smaller.

*duh, i just noticed you put in a time period. dumb question, but did you also look in the sublet section of craiglist?
