I'm extremely light and NC15 is almost too dark for me but it's a pretty good match. My skin is broken out with rosacea and really deep acne scarring that I cover up everyday but I don't feel like I'm doing the best job at it. What are some tricks that people reccomend for me to do? I use a regular, flat, foundation brush and then a sponge to get rid of any lines. I want full coverage. I'm open to anything.

my mac mua tried the studio fix liquid foundation on me before but she said that its too "thick" for my skin because it had too much coverage for my skin and i ended up getting body and face foundation instead since its very sheer.

i would say tried the studio fix with 188, i'm serious that foundation has great full coverage.

You might try Makeup Forever's line of foundations. Their Face and Body is pretty full coverage, and they have shades lighter than MAC. MAC's 187 is great for buffing foundation after application to give you that "airbrushed" look.

I love mac's other products, but their foundations and powders irritate my skin badly. I'd shop around especially if you have sensitive skin.

Smash box also has color correcting green based primers. I never used them myself but I heard they are pretty good.

I too have a lot of redness and acne scarring, so here is what I do. I use Studio Finish concealer, it is really opaque and covers great. You really have to warm it up with your finger or a light bulb to get it to the right consistency, but it is fantastic stuff. I find applying products that are meant to be more full coverage is best done with the fingers (clean ones of course!) Usually the products are really thick and can cake on you, but the warmth of your fingers helps it apply better. I hope that this helps you, good luck!
