I was thinking of trying Revlon Photo Ready foundation for my mother for her civil union next year (as I'm doing her make up) but some of the reviews have put me off somewhat. She's 48 with soft normal skin, not many fine lines or wrinkles at all. Want to start planning make up way ahead of time as I know she will freak out if it's not all organised

What do you guys think, should I look for some other foundation? I want something that's not going to give flashback during the photography, but our budget is pretty limited and MAC isn't available in Palmy. Brands available are...
Clinique, Lancome, Dior, Revlon, Shiseido, Maybelline, MaxFactor, L'Oreal, Clarins, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Napoleon Perdis, Bloom, Rimmel, ModelCo.. can't think of others at the moment. But definitely not as big a selection as other places have. (Please note this is just for my home town)
Also any reccomendations you guys may have for blush vs bronzer or both, concealer etc. Mum is not a big make up person so the aim is to get a look that is 'her but better', fairly nude but was thinking a small pop of blue on her eyes as she has such lovely blue eyes. I was planning to trial a completely nude look vs one with a blue pop. Any reccomendations would be very very appreciated!

I wouldnt reccomend Revlon Colorstay, its an amazing foundation but with photography it gives a white cast (iam golden beige in it which is equivilent to mac nc37 and i swear in pics i look nc15!!!) maybe the new revlon photoready? its supposed to be good for pics and what not - if not i would say get samples of some dior, lancome, shiseido foudnations from your counter and try them on your mum and take pics and see exactly what its like!! Hope that helped!!
