Recipe for making pressed e/s from pigments?

I'd love to know a good solution to this too - I have a ton of Clinique bronzer powder that would be so much easier to apply if it was pressed.

Someone on MUA suggested to mix your pigment with a silicone-based primer and let it sit to dry for a few days.

I know some people that fix their e/s with alcohol and let it dry...maybe that works out with pigments as well....

I am more wanting to mix a couple of different pigment colours together and press it into a pan.

Looking forward to some knowledgable person being able to help me out here

I am repeating this tip since more people than you can imagine have written in asking me to repeat it. It's a handy little tip and one that you may want to consider printing out in case you ever need it...

Here's a quick tip and fix for any of you who may have dropped that favorite compact and had your powder break into pieces...

If your compact powder breaks, continue to break it into smaller chunks, add a few drops of rubbing alcohol into the compact and mix it until it becomes a paste. Smooth the mixture with a popsicle stick if you have it, or any other sterile item. Leave it set for a few hours and it will be good as new after the alcohol evaporates. It will be a solid as it was before you broke it......

And yes, you can use this trick on blush and eyeshadow...

I don't think you can make a pigment into a pressed e/s without the use of chemical binders and pressure (machinery). I'm not sure of the details, but if it were possible, we'd have a lot more people selling home-made pressed e/s and not mineral makeup.

You can fix a shattered e/s with rubbing alcohol, but the texture of the e/s won't be the same as before. It's kind of brittle and you get less colour payoff.
