Recommend me many a shade of MAC! ;D

Hey all,

I'm going to buy a lot of new E/S's, (and more..) I'm tired of having black eyes all the time! ;D So I thought I'd go to the experts for combos and beautiful pairings. I don't have enough time to go in and swatch a lot because my MAC counter is quite far away, so I like to go in prepared.
*I'd trawl through product swatches but my internet is very slow..*

Blues ; looking for lighter blues, I have Deep Truth and Prussian.
Pinks ; are there any proper 'true' pinks? I haven't come across one.. I have Passionate and Pink Freeze.
Greys/Neutrals ; a perfect grey to pair with Typographic - does it exist? ;D Also, a proper metallic silver.. and is All That Glitters a true gold?
Purples ; How does Purple Haze go with Parfait Amour, and also Cranberry?

L/G's and lipgelee's - (I love gelee's now, but am unsure of what colours..) I usually wear hot pinks, pale pinks or bluey-plummy-reds.

Blushes - need more pinks, another contour shade (I have Strada..) and another other colours you'd like to suggest..

Also, feel free to pass any recs for L/S's (after finding the perfect red finally, am now on the search for a perfect pink) or whatever! TIA!

A true hot pink to me is sushi flower; clarity and freshwater are great lighter blues; a great metallic silver is silver ring, all that glitters is not really gold, its a sandy color, try goldmine instead! I don't like cranberry with parfait amour personally, in lipgelees I like slicked pink and moonstone. Dollymix is a great pink blush and cubic is a decent contour color. I hope that this helps!

Hmmm...ok, as far as blues...I loooove Tilt and Moon's Reflection...very pretty...for pink, I'm also a big fan of sushi flower...but Sunset B is also really nice, as well as swish, depending on how much shimmer you want (or don't).
I don't have much in the way of greys and neutral-y colors, and the ones I do have were L/E, I think...but if you can find them, I'm a big fan of french grey, and moth brown.

I don't know that I'd use parfait amour, purple haze, and cranberry together...rather than cranberry, I'd try maybe shale (love love LOVE this color), satellite dreams, crystal, and/or top knot.

L/G...dunno if you mean lipglass or lustreglass, but my go-to lustreglass is love nectar...so gorgeous...flashmode is a really nice fuschia. For lipglasses, I've been in love with prrr and nymphette for years...but I also love pink poodle, and steal my heart.

Blushes...my most favorite pink is pleasantry...it's a mineralize blush...soooo very pretty...crap...I think that was L/E though...I love gentle, too...though I usually save that one for when I've got crazy vibrant eyes, and need a really soft blush. Love Rock mineralize duo is super pretty...and I sincerely adore posey blushcreme.

For L/S, Show Orchid is a really awesome vibrant color...and my two SUPER faves in life are O, and new york apple...oh, and Viva Glam VI...and it's not MAC, but *whisper* I wear NARS Dolce Vita almost every day...it looks fab on everyone I've tried it on...didn't matter what their skin tone was like.

For a silver, I think Electra is probably about as close as it gets.

All That Glitters is more a sheer pink with a golden shimmer, not a gold - if you're after a gold shadow, try Goldmine.

A wonderful match for Parfait Amour is Beautiful Iris. Cranberry isn't a good match for it, it's a much warmer purple (it has more reddish tones). Having said that, Cranberry is a nice colour in its own right.

For glosses, you might like Lychee Luxe or Nymphette lipglasses. Russian Red is nice too - it's more like a classic red.

For pink blushes, try Dame, Well Dressed or Mocha.

For contouring, check out Harmony blush, or if you are placing a Pro order, check out the Sculpting powders.

If you're after a pink lipstick, A Rose Romance lipstick is really pretty! Quite sheer, but very wearable for everyday.

tilt and aquadisiac are cool blues.

Expensive pink is lovely e/s colour a warm peachy pink.swish is another nice pink.

I also recommend pink noveau lipstick for your colouring i love it so much its so well pigmented and a lovely cool toned pink!! girl about town would be lovely on you too as would chatterbox.

Pink swoon blush is gorgeous!! as is dollymix

My fave lipglosses are Nars turkish delight and mac pink poodle!

You might love Clear Sky Blue pigment, or Shimmermoss e/s but it's more like a light blue/teal shade

I really don't like MAC's selection of true pinks. Whatever you do, don't get Sushi Flower. It's one of those "looks pretty in pan but horrible payoff" ones. I do like Expensive Pink tho, it's a gold-pink shade but great payoff and great for neutral or everyday wear.

Electra is pretty good.

No, it's a warm peachy gold but I love it! For gold I love Woodwinked but it's a rusty, dirty gold. You might like Old Gold pigment as well but it has a green/peach/gold duochrome but it's very unique.

Cranberry isn't a purple at all, it's more of a purple-tinged burgundy. A lot of people love it, I think it's kinda meh...it can make your eyes look bruisey.

I used to love lipgelees, now I'm over them. Pigmentation just isn't there and you can get similar products from a drugstore, tbh. I'd get some lipglasses and just skip the gelees all together. I love Prr, Underage and Lychee Luxe lg.

Dollymix is a great pink. But I honestly prefer other brands for blushes like Nars, Ben Nye, La Femme.

I agree with most here, All that Glitters is NOT a true gold, beige-y. Great color but not gold.
I like Sushi Flower for pink and Moonflower for a light blue.
Get Satin Taupe and Bronze. My 2 go-to colors.
