Recommendations for a wedding............Help!

I am going to be in a wedding a couple of weeks from now. The color of the dress is an apple red ( the picture is attached). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on which eyeshadow/lip colors to use. I have fair skin, hazel eyes and light brown hair w/ some blonde highlights. Thanks in advance!

I would definitely stick with something basic and neutral. Go with a wash of a shimmery taupe color (like Naked Lunch) and some black mascara, then a little bit of a sheer red lip stain or gloss would look really pretty with that. That's a gorgeous color dress!

I agree. Bright colors with that dress would scream disaster.

You are totally safe with neautrals.. bronzey shadows would be pretty!!

Thanks for the advice. I knew I wasnt going to go the bright color route, but I just wasnt too sure which colors to go with. I know I want to make my eyes pop.

I would go with a champagne wash all over the lid to brighten, with a bit of bronzy brown or taupe in the crease to define/contour. Pair the eyes with a neutral blush (blushbaby would be great since it's subtle) and a neutral lip.

A beautiful shimmery golden neutral would be perfect to me. I personally LOVE mulch e/s with Stilife paint as a base along with All that Glitters e/s. Let us know how it turns out. The dress is pretty.

With reds, you can go with grey/silver, taupes/brown, or gold/bronze tones on the eyes.

If it were me, it would depend on time of the wedding. Day time, I would stick with neutral colors (satin to matte) on the eyes and sheer red lip gloss on the lips.

For evening, I would have dramatic eyes and sheer nude/pink lip color. I would wear a few fake eye lashes on the corners for a dash of flare.
