Recommendations for lipsticks

hey guys!

i'm really trying to look for some nice mac lipsticks but i'm not sure what to get. i really don't wanna waste money on lippies i won't ever use, and to be honest i'm a broke student and money is very tight now. i'm a african but light skinned (think beyonce

) but my lips are pinky brown so i want some thing that will uniform my lips if you know what i mean. i do like the applified formula but i'm not sure what to try. i got the underplay lipstick but i felt it was far to pale for me so nudes are out the question right now. i would really love a recc for a lippy i can wear everyday.

have you ever tried MUFE's? They are very pigmented and have lots of colors which are MLBB's.... I love the 501 which is a neutral beigy/peachy shade which looks well on most light and medium skins. It is a few more $$ than MAC's but the look and wearability if fantastic. Use it as a stain for day and more heavily for night with balm or gloss

I think NYX offers some great color options since you are a student on a budget, I am sure a lot of the ladies can offer you some color advise on the shades...also look in the Swatch thread here

I personally think MUFE is way expensive for lippies for a college student on a budget ...Just IMO however...I love MAC lipsticks as well...I like Hue, Honeylove, High Tea.....If you have a MAC near you I would just go in and try on a lot of colors to see which one suits you so you don't waste your money. I hope you find something you like
