hi everyone. i'm looking for a drug store self tanner and was wondering which ones are good. this is my first time using sunless tanner. i'd prefer a lotion over a spray. thnx for all the help.

The Dove one gave me a hivey rash. If you have senstive skin or allergies, stay away.
I just tried the Garnier one last night, it's the lotion and it's called Ambre Solaire Bronze Up moisturizing milk, and I am liking it so far. Exfoliate beforehand though, and apply normal moisturizer on your elbows, knees, ankles and wrists because they tend to turn brown. It left some very minor streaking on my arms but I think it's cause this was my 1st application on very fair skin, so I have to build it up a bit more. I also find this the most pleasant smelling one of the few diff brands I've tried (L'Oreal, Neutrogena, Dove...), you can still smell the tanning stuff a bit but it's def a lot less strong smelling than some other brands. It actually smells ok!
