I'm flying back home to my Fiance after 3 months (had a weird temporary living/family situation), so I really want to look my best at the airport and knock his socks off, haha.
I'm going to wear a red plaid mini skirt, and a nice tee of some sort, and boots, and maybe fishnets (can't decide how ho-ish I want to go). He is really into the schoolgirl thing, so I want my make-up to match that look. Not too trashy, though, and not too overdone, because it will be during the day, and he prefers me more "natural" looking.
I've been looking on youtube through tutorials and and such, and I can't quite decide what route to go.
I was thinking a medium gray smokey eye, or some kind of black smudgey liner thing with a frosty highlight and pink lips, or...I don't know. I would prefer to stay with neutrals/grays, I think, especially considering my outfit. So no color, and no bronzes and golds, I wore that last time I got dressed up with him.
It's hard for me to find a gray/black smokey eye tutorial that doesn't apply the crease color too high, and doesn't make me look overdone, though. I am pale, but have dark hair, so it is difficult to find a balance between too light and too dark.
Should I forego the whole smokey thing altogether maybe and do a "natural" cut-crease-ish look with flesh-tones?
Or maybe some kind of super shimmery champagne ish color on my lid (any recs?) with gray or something in the crease? And lined lips? Playboy-ish looking?
Any suggestions and nerding out about makeup would be really helpful and appreciated. Many thanks-
